My name is Seth Kaplan. And I currently reside in Glastonbury, CT. As you probably can tell I am a stop-motion animator. I enjoy Stop-motion, traditional 2-D animation, 3-D animation and all types of Art. I recently received my BFA in Illustration and my MFA in Computer art/Stop motion animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I’ve also set up and run a small studio in my house for my personal projects some of which you will see on this site. I’ve always loved Art and Animation but hate technology. So in my personal pieces I try to keep the use of computers to a minimum and go about animating in the more traditional methods. As a kid I grew up with Harryhausen and Henson movies always in the back of my mind. I guess that set the ground work for what I love to do. What to say about me… My house is full of sets and I am constantly being stared down upon by hundreds of small creations that are waiting to have life breathed into them.

Currently I am in pre-production on a new animation that is about 20 minutes long and should be completed in about a year.
